Norm Cement – Bakü Multi-Cell Silo and Facilities

Construction of a 14,500 m³ capacity multi-chamber reinforced concrete silo (6 compartments) at Norm Cement Plant in Baku, Azerbaijan. The silo shaft was constructed using vertical slipform, the internal bunker was built with conventional formwork, and internal walls together with the outer shaft above the bunker were completed using slipform method. The project included composite slab works on top of the silo, steel structures at the base, big bag packing facility, electrical building, and integration with the main system including conveyor bridges. A special formwork system was designed and supplied for bunker construction, and testing and commissioning were completed.
